Life is a matter of cause and effect, while the earth remains, seedtime and harvest shall not cease. Galatians 6:8 says “For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.” Sowing to the spirit means taking heed to the word of God. Jesus said, “These words I speak to you are Spirit and Life” 1 Peter 1:23 says that we have been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever. In other words, when a man gets born again, a seed is sown inside of him, this seed is the word of God which lives forever.

In John 15:7-8, Jesus said “If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.”
Christianity does not end in giving our lives to Christ, if you only abide in Him without His words remaining in you, you cannot bear much fruit. Giving yourself to the words of Jesus and continuing in them is what guarantees the harvest of life everlasting.
